Environment
The school grounds, of 1.6 hectares, have a beach frontage of 200 metres and riparian rights enable us to take full advantage of the coastal environment. We have a swimming pool and also make use of the sea for water-based activities. There is a range of outside spaces. As well as the beach we have an asphalt court area, grassed areas, an adventure pirate ship playground, a cobblestone shaded assembly area and extensive decking off all classrooms and a recently built activity centre.Buildings
The school has grown considerably over the years from a two classroom school to its current status of 7 classrooms, a library, staffroom, various storage facilities, an administration area and our new Hall. In 1996 the Community also constructed a Marine Education Centre in order to promote the study of the unique environment in which the school is situated and to encourage the safe use of the marine environmentThe Board operates successful minor and major maintenance programmes to ensure these facilities are maintained for the current and future generations.
