    Song for Aotearoa

Words and music written by Teleigha Takairi-Fitzgerald Accompanying Vocalists - Kahawai Wehi & Eden Nikora-Young

    Te Puru School, March 2019

When the Christchurch shootings happened on March 15th, Teleigha responded with a song that she wrote to express how she felt. A new guitarist, she used the three chords she knew and crafted the music.

She and a couple of others, Kahawai and Eden, performed the song at our special Anzac Assembly. It was really well received.

We are delighted to welcome our new Principal, Karla Hull.
